Today starts the first day of our kids Soccer Season! Madyson and her team the Heavenly Girls played their first game at 10:15! It was amazing!! By the second quarter, Mady found her Athletic mojo and scored a goal!! The U10 fields are huge! I felt bad for Madyson & Claire who were the main forwards because all they do is run!!! They are both great friends and they both scored a goal!! They helped their team win 4 to 3!
At 3pm, was Dayton & Caydon's 1st soccer game! Grammy came up and surprised us for their game!! Dayton played center...I guess it is called half back...and Caydon played guard!! Dayton had a few steals but he is not as fast as all the kids, so he would trail too much when he tried to take it to the goal! Caydon did great at defending the goal area for the goalie! He had a huge block that got everyone up and cheering for him!! Matthew (Claire's brother) made all the goals! The Demolitions won 6 to 1!
This season is going to be so much fun for them because their teams are full of their friends that requested Christopher!!! I am so proud of Christopher! He has been coaching both teams for a month...and so far, he has 2 wins!!! I hope they all have a GREAT season!! I cannot wait to watch Mackenzie & McKenna next Saturday!!! Their game was at the same time as ours...hopefully, that won't happen again!! =)
