My Munchkins Start 2nd & 4th Grade!!
Life is flying by...I mean whizzing by...it is just going WAY TOO FAST! Dayton & Caydon started 2nd grade! They are with Mrs Van Oosbree again! Their school keeps the kids with the same teacher for 2 years...which I love! If I had my way, Dayton & Caydon would stay with her forever! I have never enjoyed a teacher as much as her! She truly loves my boys and she is so energetic! Her husband is the security guard at Brandon's school...he told Brandon yesterday that he will keep a special eye on him this year!! Brandon THINKS he is bigger than he is though! Atleast he never got trash canned...he has witnessed it though. =( Anyways, wow...I can go off subjects so easy!!! Caydon is having a VERY hard time without Claire. The first day of school...they had free time to draw, he drew all these pretty broken hearts with Claire's name in them. He is so sad...I keep hoping time will help him...I just never thought my son would experience a broken heart this early in life! =( He gets to spend the whole day with her this Saturday...so he is thrilled about that! Dayton drew a cow with an utter, which he calls a milking machine! haha!! It was such a great drawing! I need to keep him in art...that is his talent! So far, they've had 2 wonderful days of school! They met knew friends and reconnected with old friends! They are very happy boys!
Madyson is now in 4th grade! She is with Mrs Kajitani again! She loves her! She is obsessed with all the latest fads! She has every color of feathers...she wears colored extensions, and everything is about Hello Kitty! I love watching her grow in her fashion sense...but, wow, it is expensive to keep her in the next big thing! One thing I need to work on as a mom...is keeping Ryelon away from her so she can dedicate more quiet time to reading. She has her reading light that helps her read before bed...but, she will fall asleep after 7 minutes! It's is so funny because I check on her every night...I always take her book off her face or out of her hands! She is a cutie! Madyson also lost her BFF Abigail. She is having a hard time with that. =( We had to leave Abigail at the beach, crying! =( It was so heartbreaking! Macy is her other BFF since Kindergarten! I love Macy around Madyson because Jill raises her girls just like we raise our kids! Christopher ACTUALLY said yes to a sleepover at their house because he trust them! This is BIG! =-)
I pray that this year brings them so much happiness. Along with new friends and all 5's on their report cards!!! I also secretly pray that Jessica and Lester will move their cute little family back here!!! LOL!!!
I hope everyone's kids had an amazing first day of school!! This day is just as hard on the parents as it is for our kids!! =-)
