I went on my first field trip with Madyson & her 3rd grade class! It was beautiful and tons of fun! First, we rode a bus for about an hour to Devil's Punchbowl. I've lived up here since 1993 and never even knew this existed! I cannot wait to go back with the rest of my family! The scenery was gorgeous. I was able to walk this mile trail with Jessica and her daughter Abigail. It was super hard...but so worth it!!! And I didn't get car sick..4 Dramamines REALLY help!!! haha!! =)
The following week I went on another field trip with Dayton & Caydon...and 100 other 1st graders! The 3rd graders were a breeze compared to these kids! LOL!!! We went to Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary. It was soooo neat. Again, never knew it was up here!!! They have Bengal tigers, lions, wildcats, poisonous snakes, bobcats, alligators, racoons, panthers, horses, llamas, deers, tons of birds and turtles...and soooo much more! It was soooo fun! My boys were a bit on the crazy side...but, they had a blast!! I met alot of their friends too. Dayton and Caydon were allowed to pet a baby alligator. Dayton touched a snake...but, Caydon was not going near it! =} I was able to talk to a macaw...which is what my grandpa has. I want one now...and a baby pig still!!! =) I did not get sick on this ride either...but I think I was a little freaked out of tipping...and may have freaked Jessica out a little bit!!! haha!! =)
