Rain....blah!

I think I am the only one on the planet that HATES...I mean depises rain! I know, it is good for the environment...but, not for my vain self and really NOT to drive in! If anyone knows how Victorville is....a small drizzle can flood streets! So, when it pours as it did yesterday...then, there is small swamps everywhere! Madyson and I watched The Christmas Carol yesterday. Too scary for a little 7 year old....but, the graphics were amazing! Then, we stepped outside and it was so surreal! Water was everywhere. I was wearing tall boots...so, the water didn't effect me at all. Poor Madyson though! Water was up to her knees! Also, the rain brings laziness for me! And, we missed out on the snow mountains because we couldn't see them anymore! Hopefully, we can try again on Sunday! We'll see! =)

I am so excited for Brandon! In about 2 weeks he is turning 14. Can you believe it! I do not!! When did he get so old! Christopher and I were just talking about that we will be at his graduation in ONLY 4 years! Tear! Anyways, for his birthday we are going to the Pirate Adventure Show! It is a surprise! We paid extra for a "Happy Birthday Brandon" announcement during the show, to ride in a boat, a pirate hat, and many extras! I am thrilled to be able to do this for him! He truly is a wonderful little boy! Even though, little may not be the right word....since he is almost as tall as me! But, he will always be my little boy! P.S. Thank you April! You saved us $25 each ticket with that coupon!! The weird thing is....you didn't even know we were going! Thank you tons! XOXO!!

One thing that is fun about the rain...is the cuddles! I truly have the most wonderful hubbie ever! I woke up this morning to the sweetest comments on my FB! He always is so complimentary of me too. I can sit here and listen to Tim McGraw's My Best Friend all day...it is a perfect song and how I feel to the tee!! I have so much to be thankful for! He is going to go to church with me this Sunday. I am still working on getting him to leave Ryelon with the sweet ladies. He actually listened to me this time, thought about it, and then slowly said he was not comfortable with it. How can I fault him, when he is doing it out of love..not meaness? I need to see the positive in this...he is okay with our 4 other children going! See, there is always a positive with any negative! Have a glorious day in the rain everyone! =)

A Beautiful Reminder!

It was a full rainbow too!
