My kids made me so proud this year! Madyson agreed to do a part that had 7 LONG lines! She was a kid confused about if Santa is real! Of course, he is real!!! She did not mess up one time. She recited them into the microphone loud and clearly! It was one of those moments where you find a huge smile spreading across your face...that eventually starts to hurt!!! I loved every minute! I was so glad to have our family there along with her Aunt Melissa! Then, Dayton and Caydon performed in their musical performance!
They both had special parts too! Caydon was a bell dancer and Dayton was Santa's dancer! Caydon was soooo sick. He came home from school and looked miserable w/ a 102.2 temp. He slept for about 5 hours and then insisted on going to his performance! He did GREAT! Dayton was fantastic with his dancing!! I could not stop cracking up! I love that my kids can get up on a huge stage and not have any stage fright! All they see is tons of families and a million cameras!
Also, I had the pleasure of joining Melissa and John at Mackenzie's performance!! Oh my gosh, she had a special dancing part too!!! The teacher made Mackenzie's group do their dancing part again at the end because they did so well!! She was absolutely adorable!!! Their school is the best in the High Desert...and this is one of the reasons!!! Great job Brandt & Henderson kids!!!
