The whole month of December seemed to have flown by!! Alicia and I were invited to my first Christmas Cookie Party! I made some yummy egg nog cookies. I had to make 4 batches to be welcomed there!! haha!! I was a little nervous to try something new but, they came out really great! At Denae's party, we met some really wonderful ladies. Her family seems so close and very welcoming! I am very thankful to call her a friend! Then, Christopher seemed to have the half of December off...which you will never hear me complain! Our kids had 2 weeks off too. We made our vacation the best we could with all the sickness! It started with Caydon (who is reading this out loud as I type this) he had the stomach flu. Of course, it gets passed around through the seven of us!

It ended with Ryelon who is still not the same yet! Our Christmas though...could not have been more perfect! It started out by reading a Christmas book...because we couldn't get Daddy up until 8am!! haha!! Our Christmas morning always last for about 3 and a 1/2 hours! We do one present at a time. I took this from my own family traditions and we love it! They all had time to play with the tons of new stuff they received! It was nice because they thanked Jesus and THEN us! After relaxing, we went down to my mother-n-laws! Rebecca and Nick cooked a wonderful meal for all of us!

All the kids opened presents from their grandparents, Aunts, & Uncles! I think all the kids were very happy with all their gifts! December was full of activities, crafts, decorating, SHOPPING, searching, wrapping, pictures, & love. It truly was a wonderful month! It is a little sad to take everything down...but, part of me cannot wait to get the house back to being uncluttered! I look forward to finding tree needles for the next year...I am not sure how, but I always do!!! I hope everyone was very blessed this Christmas season!
