Madyson and I were invited by our friends Melinda and Maria to join them and their beautiful daughters Colleen & Samiya to see the Nutcracker Ballet! I have taken her to Annie but, this performance was completely different! I ♥ ballet! I wish I would have known that they did not talk..that is the only thing that confused Madyson. She didn't realize that they told the story through dance.
The second half was much better for her once she understood that!! =) We were only 6 rows from the stage too! The little girls were so beautiful and Colleen let Madyson borrow her other Nutracker doll to bring to the Ballet!! I wish Christopher would not have taken my only daughter out of ballet to make her a soccer/softball star! Geez...he had 4 boys for that! Anyways, the California Theater is beautiful! I wish they could let me in there every year at this time to take my family Christmas pictures! =) I am so thankful that Melinda made us a part of her yearly tradition to see the Nutcracker!
