I am trying to let go. It is a sickening feeling to know your son may get hurt in the process of his love journey! He has liked Emily for about 4 months. A few months ago, they started dating. I even let him see a movie with her and walk around the mall for a few hours! AND, I swear...I didn't stalk him!!! hahha!! I stayed home! (Very proud of myself!) They did a few other things and stayed after school every day to "cuddle" under a tree at school for weeks! Then, he saw her with her ex and got heartbroken! They remained friends...but, he did not stopped liking her! They still talk on the phone nightly and he is trying so hard to get out of work on Friday to take her to a school dance! I have such high hopes for this relationship! Mainly because I want to spare my sweetheart the pain that comes along with a broken heart!!! I know it is part of our lives...but, I REMEMBER that pain ALL TOO WELL...and I never want any of my kids to go through it!! Keep your fingers crossed for Brandon!!!
