Hmmm...I do not do either. I never drink. I would probably drink every once and a while with Christopher, if HE did it...but, he never drinks either! I will be honest though...I would love to go out with my friends some time soon for happy hour! That would be a blast! I am a happy drunk, that never shuts up. I do not know my limit and will pay for it the next day! They all just start tasting yummy!
The first time I got drunk...probably taught me a lesson that was life saving! It was with Strawberry Hill...I think that is what it is called! I was with Trisha and Donna...and I was only 15 and 1/2! My oldest son is only 6 months from that age! I remember flashes of that night. I was suppose to start my new job at Dairy Queen the next day...well, that did not happen. I will admit something, my mom was wonderful about it. She knew I was hungover...she had to! She never grounded me or even questioned me! She took care of me and nursed me back to health. It would be years until I drank again...LOTS of years!
My thoughts on drugs...I will never do them now! I know it is hard with peer pressure. I am sure my kids will go through that some day...I just pray that God watches over them and helps me to build a trusting & open relationship with them.
