I am so excited!! I have a moment just to sit here!! I have not been able to do anything the last few days...it is just one thing after another! I should not complain...it has been fun and I am doing things that are worth it! Sunday, I woke up so sick! At 6am...I was thinking "God, just take me now" =( I think I was sick from an expired perscription from 2008...hmmm...but anyways, I did not want to miss church. What a rotten way to start the new year...so, I prayed and asked Him to wake me up by 9:15 if He really wanted me there! =) Well, the Lord did because He woke me up every 5-10 minutes until 9:20am!! So, that was the answer I needed! I got all 5 of us ready and we were off...and do you know what?? I felt 100% after that!
Then, my wonderful friend Jill came over with Derek, Macy and McKenna! It was a BLAST!! Seriously, Christopher and Derek had so much fun...I think at my expense sometimes! Dayton has a little crush on McKenna!! She is the sweetest little girl...so, I am okay with this! Jill is saving for their wedding...hehe!!
And, last night was my first Bible study with Beth Moore! It was amazing and she has more energy in a minute than I have all day! The session is "It is tough to be a woman" and man, is that so true! I think I have the hardest time with balance. The balance of my family, school work, love, devotion, cleaning, and then last but not least...friends! I always feel like I fall short in certain areas! Like last night, I forgot to have the boys read their books to me. I put alot of pressure on myself to be the best...unfortunately, I put that same pressure on my kids!
However, it has paid off in certain aspects because Brandon has a 3.9 GPA and he was invited to Washington DC...right when we get an extra $2,000...that will happen for him!! Hopefully, the meeting I attend will have some more ideas on how to raise that much money! I would be extactic for him to go!
To end on a terrific note...our new years was so much fun!! The kids had the best time...we all wore hats...even Christopher! They even made it to twelve!! Well, not Ryelon!! He probably could of if we let him!! That child is starting his terrible 2's early!! Even though, I think it is our fault...he is spoiled and he is a daddy's boy...two bad combinations! =) Well, so far twenty ten is spectactular! I see good times in our future! Cannot wait until Thursday girls!! =) Love you all!
