Always a brand new day...

"I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who gave me strength, because he trusted me and gave me this work of serving him. In the past I spoke against Christ and persecuted him and did all kinds of things to hurt him. But God showed me mercy, because I did not know what I was doing. I did not believe. But the grace of our Lord was fully given to me, and with that grace came the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus."
1 Timothy 1: 12-14

Tonight, I was reading the bible to Christopher...trying to comfort him after his sad loss today. I found these two verses that I had to put in my journal...I thought I would share. They truly bring me comfort...The first one is for my past...the second one is for my future. My prayers are with the Brandt family tonight.

"God has chosen you and made you his holy people. He loves you. So always do these things: Show mercy to others, be kind, humble, gentle, and patient. Get along with each other, and forgive each other. If someone does wrong to you, forgive that person because the Lord forgave you. Do all these things; but most important, love each other. Love is what holds you together in perfect unity. Let the peace that Christ gives control your thinking, because you are all called together in one body to have peace. Always be thankful."
Colossians 3: 12-15

Although the last verse may not be achieved at this time. My prayers are of this everyday. God always answers all prayers! Good night!
