The Following Days....

Christmas was wonderful!! I truly love this time of year. Everyone is a little bit friendlier too! We went to church on Christmas eve with Jill's family!! It was such a wonderful service and I absolutely adore the music and singing!! =) On Christmas, the kids took about 3 hours to open all their presents! We bought them alot of great things! Madyson got a dollhouse bigger than herself!! Brandon got his first iPod! Dayton and Caydon got an easel...and every truck and dinosaur possible! Ryelon, well he thinks his best present is the shopping cart and food...he needs the kitchen next!! Christopher got every blue ray DVD possible =) and PS3 games...he is set for a while!! Now, I need to figure out all their computer gadgets! I feel so dumb sometimes...I need a class from 5 year old stuff to my stuff! =) Then, I made a traditional turkey dinner...I even made the gravy from the drippings!! Christopher was in heaven! I was so nervous at first...I remembered everything...even a new turkey baster! I get the turkey out and realize...ummm...I don't have a turkey PAN!!! haha!! I now have a 19 pound turkey and nothing to cook it in. The stores were closed! But, I dug through all of my cabinets and found a deep enough pan! It was actually perfect! While that cooked, we went to the movies. I do not recomend "Where the wild things are"!! What a depressing and strange movie!! Then, we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and watched a beautiful video on the birth of Jesus! It is so sad that he struggled and suffered on earth from the moment of his birth, just for us. For which, I will continue to praise him for!

But, now...it gets to be the sad part. It is all over! You look forward to so much and then it is just gone after 24 hours! I hope the feeling can last a lifetime though! I know I have more than I deserve! I have such great kids, a terrific husband, and wonderful friends! New Years is coming....so, that is something to look forward too!! To welcome a new year, celebrate the past and leave all the crazy behind! Now, that sounds terrific!! I hope all my loved ones had a blessed Christmas!! You all deserve it! =)
